Look Younger with BOTOX injections

The desire to stay forever young is perhaps as old as humanity itself. Youth is eternally appealing. It is only natural then that men and women, since the earliest of civilized societies, have tried a zillion ways to slow down the aging process, hide all the usual ravages of time on the human body and stay younger longer.

Thanks to modern medical research, looking younger and lying about your age have become easier than ever. Yes, I am talking about BOTOX injections. BOTOX is what the whole world is raving about. And for good reasons too! If one can afford to overlook the somewhat pricey nature of this amazing formulation, BOTOX will come across as a veritable godsend for those who seriously want to look younger and take off years from their actual age.

Philadelphia is home to some of the finest BOTOX clinics in the whole world. If you are thinking seriously of experiencing the magic of BOTOX, Philadelphia might just be the best destination for head for. Every year, thousands of men and women take BOTOX injections in Philadelphia including such areas as Center City, Chestnut Hill, Bucks County and Chester Springs. The easy availability of quality medical advice and service in the area, especially those related to cosmetic injections or treatments, makes Philadelphia a popular destination for many seeking a new look for themselves.

Among the most visible signs of aging in a person’s appearance are wrinkles and facial lines. These appear naturally with age and till recently, have been widely considered as an irreversible and inevitable process. Inevitable…? Yes. Irreversible…? Definitely not (at least if you have BOTOX with you)! So how does it all work? Simply put, BOTOX has been proven to smooth facial lines by paralyzing or weakening the muscles that can cause them in the first place. In doing so, BOTOX injections can decrease the amount of fine lines, wrinkles and facial creases, as well as crows’ feet, bunny lines, marionette lines, frown lines and smoker’s lines.

BOTOX injections can vary widely in its cost, which is primarily determined by the actual amount of BOTOX used.

Stop Armpit Sweating – 5 Traditional Methods to Stop Armpit Sweating

Excessive Sweating, also known as Hyperhidrosis, can cause many unpleasant situations and problems. Many people suffering from it feel shame and embarrassment because they sweat when others don’t. They decide what to wear on the base of how well you will see the sweat patches on that shirt. Most of them avoid physical activity to keep from sweating even more.

But there are ways to manage and even stop armpit sweating. Some are less invasive and expensive than others and not all methods work for everyone. You have to try and find the treatment that works best for you.

Here are 5 of the most common traditional methods to stop armpit sweating:

Antiperspirants: There come in many forms and shapes, such as roll-ons, sticks, sprays and powders. Most over the counter antiperspirants are effective to stop some of the excessive sweating, especially under the arms.

Doctor prescribed antiperspirants: Not available over the counter, they require a doctor’s prescription. But they are way more effective than the common antiperspirants available in the stores. They contain a sufficient amount of aluminum chloride hexahydrate and can really help to stop underarm sweating for some time.

Lontophoresis: This older method to treat excessive sweating uses mild electric currents that pass through the skin using water. It doesn’t cause any pain and while being effective, the benefits aren’t long term. Using this method you would have to undergo several procedures a week.

Botox treatment: Botox is a toxin widely known for it’s use against wrinkles. But recently it is also used to stop underarm sweating. A small dosage is injected into the armpits and is highly effective in reducing sweating but has to be repeated after approximately 6 months.

Surgery: It is also possible to remove the overactive sweat glans through surgery. While this method works for over 90% of all patients, it is very invasive and expensive. It should be the last resort, since it is irreversible and not without risk.

If these methods sound too harsh for you, there are many natural ways to control and even cure excessive sweating. And they are quite cheap, so if you can’t or don’t want to undergo a pricey Botox treatment or surgery, you can learn how to stop armpit sweating over at http://stop-armpit-sweating.weebly.com.

Excess Sweating Treatment

Excess sweating, also known as Hyperhidrosis may put a big hold on one’s life, but it is a very treatable condition. When suffering from a less serious form of hyperhidrosis one can control the sweating by using antiperspirants (Deodorants are not antiperspirants! Deodorants only hide smells, whereas antiperspirants stop the production of sweat) , not wearing any man-made materials such as nylon and avoiding certain food, such as Indian food because of the spices. Also, if hyperhidrosis causes your feet to sweat, always have an extra pair of socks with you. Change your socks on a regular basis and try rubbing your feet with baby powder. This will soak up sweat and help keep your feet dry.

A severe case of profuse sweating, however, requires professional medical attention. A new treatment in this field, called Iontophoresis, uses electrical stimulation to stop the secretion of sweat. With the treatment needing around four sessions every week and also maintenance, it is highly time consuming. Also, pregnant women and people who suffer from a heart condition should not consider this treatment as it could be harmful to their health.

Botox injections are also considered to be highly successful in reducing sweating in the arm region. When injected, the botox prohibits the sweat glands from secreting sweat. But, botox brings many risks. It may, for instance, freeze the muscle in the injected area. It is also a temporary solution as the botox wears off after a certain period of time. Because of this the treatment is expensive and also time consuming.

Surgery and medication are two other options in treating hyperhidrosis. Visit a doctor to figure out which remedy suits your situation.

There are a few eBooks claiming to provide a “natural cure” for excessive sweating. While I don’t have the money to buy all of these eBooks, I did have enough to buy one of them, which was “Stop Sweating, Start Living” by Mike Ramsey. You can read my review and progress (Yes, I’ve actually put the methods into action) on the website below:

Furthermore, this mistake can cause the toxin to spread to other areas that are not to be treated. It may be fatal if it is wrongly administered.

Therefore, Botox must only be administered under the supervision of a professional health expert who has certifications in dermatology, ears, nose and throat (otolaryngology), or plastic surgery. In addition, the doctor should has sufficient experience with Botox treatments

The popularity of this drug has driven a certain quarters of people to profit from it. There is a huge market for people want to get rid of wrinkles. Counterfeits of Botox are now available. They are not safe to use because the concentration of Clostridium Botulinum may not follow the safety guidelines of the FDA. With the use of these imitations, the risk of getting botulism increases which can lead to paralysis. So, make sure you are getting the FDA-regulated brand.

The importance of using the approved brand of Botox cannot be overlooked. Due to the popularity of this medicine, many people start to participate in Botox parties. Unqualified persons are injecting this medicine into them with the hope that their wrinkles will vanish. Unfortunately, most of them don’t see the results they want. In short, the proper administration of Botox still needs the skills and experience of doctors.

Many feel that this injectable is a safe treatment. Nevertheless, 16 deaths have reported and they are caused by Botox and a similar injection for wrinkle treatment. The deaths are the results of the spread of botulinum toxin inside the body. Many of you know may not realize that most of the marketing campaigns failed to highlight this important fact. More than four in ten people would experience various adverse side-effects.

Although most of the side effects are temporary but some of them such as drooping eyelids can persist for weeks. Patients usually complain about headache and nausea after the treatment is over. Other complications may occur such as pain and bruising at the injection site, redness, and flu-like symptoms.

Botox injections for wrinkles do raise some safety concerns. But these issues are not complete. There are other concerns that are not addressed here. Obviously, the risk is still present no matter what the manufacturer claims. The question is are you willing to take the risk?
