Symptom Sweating Head

Symptom Sweating Head
I need help from someone who knows type 2 diabetes.?

My grandfather has type 2 diabetes. Lately he has been having spells of low blood sugar. Unfortunately the dr. cant get him in soon. Some of his symptoms include…increased sweating, bobbing of the head, dry mouth and he always seems to ask whats wrong with me when he is having a spell. He is very stubborn and doesn’t eat correctly although we try to get him to but he does take his insulin on time. My grandmother is very worried about this situation and really doesn’t know much about diabetes. What could she do to help prevent the spells that he has been having more frequently?

I hope he is seeing an endocrinologist and not his GP.
Low sugars are part of diabetes.
Your grandfather should check his sugar often and especially when he feels strange.

His doctor should have told him how to deal with high and low sugars.
This doctor did not give your grandfather enough information.
For a low sugar, he needs to have extra carbohydrates.Juice, regular soda , cereal and milk and cheese and crackers are some choices.
We don’t call this a spell. It is a low sugar or insulin reaction.
Good luck.
