Heat Hives/Cholinergic Urticaria?

Well, ive tried everything i can to make it stop… i had it in the past, but i kinda ‘sweated it out’ and I was free from it for about 3 months, and now it seems like its here for good?

Does anyone have any effective methods to supress breakouts?

I will put some references in but want to pass on what worked for me. I had hives/urticaria for 10 years triggered by cold, pressure, vibration. They went away when I went on a gluten free diet. Gluten is found in wheat, rye and barley products. Maybe 10 percent of urticaria cases are caused by this. First get tested for celiac disease with a blood test by your doctor before you go on a trial gluten free diet. IF that is negative, try a gluten free diet for 2-3 months to see if you have nonceliac gluten intolerance or an allergy to gluten or wheat.

A good way to do a trial is to eat fresh fruit and vegetables, non processed meats, cheese, eggs. Stay away from commercial sauces and gravies. Add in potatoes and rice for starches. If that works then you can learn more about coping with a gluten free diet and reading labels and proceed. My hives ended about 6 weeks into a gluten free diet.

If I can you anymore, contact me through here. — Good luck!!
