Sweat Vs Steam

I know the point of a sauna is to sweat and relax, but what’s the point of a steam room? Does it serve the same purpose, but it’s just meant for people that prefer humidity?
i think theyr both the same and the difference is just the name ,, they make ppl think that sauna is different than steam room ,, but theyr just the same
my older sister used to work at a spa before she got married
they r seriously ripping ppl off
