Scalp Sweating Treatment

Scalp Sweating Treatment
Why is my head still itchy after 2 days of applying lice shampoo?

My daughter came back from school telling me she was itchy on her head, I ignored it for about a day, I said maybe you are just sweating, the next day she said I can’t stand the itch, and to my fears I turned out to be head lice! I immediately went to the store and bought medication I CUT her hair to her ear and applied it, after a couple of days they seemed to be gone, but not really and she gave them to me, I bought more medication and put it on my hair and I thought I was ok, but after a week we were both itchy again , I still had medication for 2 treatments and used it on both. It’s been 2 days and she’s not itchy anymore, but I am VERY VERY itchy, I don’t see any lice and I’ve been combing my hair and nothing comes out, I feel things walking on my head and I comb it and nothing comes out, could it be that they’re not dead? or maybe my scalp is irritated? How will I know for sure if they are gone? please help I’m desperate! 8((

My niece had an infestation of lice, they tried every OTC and Prescription shampoo there was, then we were told by a very wise woman to go to the store and buy the flea and tick (green) dog shampoo and a large jug of white vinegar.
We were told to apply the dog shampoo to dry hair, and massage into scalp, and cover with a bag or shower cap and leave in for as long as tolerated up to two hours. Rinse thoroughly, and then bend over the tub or sink and pour straight white vinegar onto the hair, and begin combing the hair with either lice comb or fine toothed comb. (You will be surprised at what you will see…..the lice and nits will begin falling off right into the tub.) Keep using the vinegar and combing until there are no more, and be careful as not to get anything in your eyes, it will burn like crazy. I didn’t believe that this would work until we tried this method on my niece and she has been lice free since! She now uses tea tree shampoo once a week, and has no more problems, and actually uses the white vinegar and water mixed as a finishing rinse to detangle her hair, and it works fantastic!
