Palm Sweat Glands
Sweaty Palms help please?
I’m 15 year old girl, and i have the worst hands ever. They’re always clammy and veryyy sweaty. I understand i can get surgery to cure them, but that makes you gain weight because youre cutting down your sweat glands…are there any AT HOME REMEDIES THAT I CAN DO THAT WILL HELP ME GET RID OF MY SWEATY PALMS
please dont say “carry a tissue with you” beucase that doesnt help at all
I think you have a nerve disorder called Hyperhidrosis. It causes excessive sweating, usually in the underarms, hands, and feet, but can also cause you to sweat on your face, back, stomach and thighs.
Go to a SURGICAL dermatologist (not necessarily for surgery, they are just more specialized) and tell them you sweat too much. They can prescribe oral and topical medicines, much stronger than any antiperspirant over the counter. I also did the botox treatments, which worked wonders. One year ago I had surgery for it, but my case was VERY extreme, and even after the surgery, my hands and underarms remain completely dry, but my feet still sweat horribly bad.
There are no “at home” rememdies that I have tried that work. I understand your problem… I wrinkled papers, smeared ink, and everything else because my hands sweat so bad. You CAN have surgery, but a surgeon will make you try other things first– sooo… just go to a surgical dermatologist =)
