My son is 8 months old and sweats a lot during the night?

The temperature in the room is arround 22 Celsius and he sleeps just in a onesie but he sweats a lot ….what is strange is that his head is sweating , his hair is wet and I am forced to change the towel under his head many times because the towels are soaked. He gains weight appropriately and is a very happy boy but his sweating makes me wonder if is not something else going on and I am not aware of it.
