Strong Antiperspirant And Your Sweating Problem

<p>By Sehron Guptha

Different people have different bodies, which deals with things in different ways. This is true for anything and everything, including sweating, which is one reason, why there are so many different options available on how to deal with it. For instance, some people need a strong antiperspirant, whereas some people need a very light, barely there antiperspirant.

It is this very diversity which makes the commercial deodorant and antiperspirant market, go around. Advertisers, and deodorant and antiperspirant producers alike capitalize on these differences and create mild deodorants and antiperspirants for those of us who only sweat moderately or not at all, and create strong antiperspirant and deodorant brands for those of us who sweat profusely.

The burning question here though, is all of this merely an advertising gimmick to get us to buy their products. Are we in essence buying the same deodorant or antiperspirant, only packaged in a different form? The question is unanswerable by a lay person, considering the staggering number of different deodorants and antiperspirants available on the market.

If, hypothetically speaking of course, a number of them are the same, merely packaged differently and marketed to us as strong antiperspirant, or light antiperspirant, would we then be able to tell the difference between the two when we’re using them? Or would our minds be full of all the advertising campaigns that each of the deodorants have associated with them.

Although this is a difficult question to ascertain, part of it can be answered quite simply. Yes, in some instances we can tell the difference between certain products. Most of the time however, you will find that advertising has done the job for us, and if we take a men’s strong antiperspirant vs. a women’s light antiperspirant, we will feel that there is a difference – even if the product ingredients are, both same and in the same quantities.

This is called advertising and it works miracles. Some people might object to it on purely moral and ethical grounds, but that is course is up to you decide. Besides, how many of us are going to trawl through the supermarket deodorant aisle looking at the various listed ingredients on the product labeling?

That however, is beside the point. If a strong antiperspirant is what you want and a strong antiperspirant is what the labeling says it is, then where’s the problem? If it looks, acts and works like a strong antiperspirant, then isn’t what you’re using a strong antiperspirant?

Sweating Face And Your Life Style

<p>By Sehron Guptha

Sweating anywhere in any kind of excess is a problem, but even if you tend only to sweat moderately on your face, even that light sweat can look like a deluge. Having a sweating face is no laughing matter, and for the people who suffer from this problem, there is no readily available recourse to deal with their problems.

It is not entirely safe or even possible to use antiperspirants on your face, besides which they don’t always work. You will also find that due to the logistics of having a sweating face where the sweat always rolls down off your face in the most awkward manner, any of these methods are more a hindrance than a help.

The one thing that you can do to help you control your sweating is to stop using facial creams entirely, or barring that, use only very light creams. Heavy creams of the type normally used in the harsher winter months can have a cloying effect on your skin and cause you to sweat even more – even in winter.

The other thing that you need to take into consideration is whether your sweating face is a genetic trait. Is it something that has been passed down through the family line? If so, you can always talk with a family member first to see what remedy they have resorted to, to stop their sweating face problems.

Of course some people don’t take too much notice of these things and take it in their stride. These people are the ones who always tend to have a handkerchief in their hands and are always lightly dusting their face with it.

Speaking of which, a good viable alternative to using antiperspirants is to use talcum powder. Use only a very light dusting so that you don’t take on the appearance of a street mime or a clown, and try very hard to avoid your eyes, nose and mouth when applying it, but do try it by all means. It can help to keep your face dry and free from sweat, at least for a little while.

If makeup is what you prefer to use, not talcum powder, then make a compromise. Use a loose compact powder instead one of the creamier compact versions that are available. The coverage might not last as long, but since you have a sweating face anyway, it becomes a moot point, doesn’t it?

A sweating face doesn’t need to be the end of the world as your know it. You can still have a thriving social life, you just need to find the little things that can help you to control or even prevent your facial sweating. For instance, if you like to eat hot foods regularly but then sweat as if there was no tomorrow, you might want to cut back on those foods! Little things like this can help you immensely in the long run and only take a little effort on your part.

Natural Deodorant For Your Sweating Problem

<p>By Sehron Guptha

Sweating might be a problem to some people, while some people just let it go as something natural and will look at ways and means to deal with it. More and more though people are looking for natural products and this is partly the reason why they go searching for natural antiperspirant and deodorant products.

Most of us will be content with using the commercially available deodorants and antiperspirants, regardless of what ingredients goes into them and what those ingredients can do to us.

A very few of us though, have cottoned on to the fact that there may be contained within these deodorants and antiperspirants, ingredients which may be harmful to us. This is why we go in search of such things as natural antiperspirant and deodorants.

Of course, the fact that sweating is a natural occurrence and an essential part of the body’s function is a completely different story altogether. Or rather, it is the foundation of the search for natural antiperspirant and deodorants. Why? For the simple reason, that because sweating is a natural occurrence, there is no such “natural antiperspirant” per se.

There is of course, such a thing as a natural deodorant, and these are readily available, for instance in the form of crystal deodorant rocks. These alum crystal rocks kill the bacteria which causes sweat induced odor, but since it is a deodorant only and not an antiperspirant, it does not stop you from sweating. It merely keeps you odor free.

This is an example of a natural deodorant, and there are more such natural deodorants available. A natural antiperspirant however, just doesn’t seem to be on the cards, and is not something that is readily found anywhere.

There can and will be natural substances which will inhibit the production of sweat, and if you come across a natural antiperspirant you will want to be very careful in your usage of it. As mentioned earlier sweating is a natural biological function and serves a purpose, therefore using an antiperspirant, be it a natural antiperspirant or a commercially produced antiperspirant, can cause you undue problems if used on a long term basis. .

The best thing that you can do would be to use a natural deodorant, but since this doesn’t stop the sweating, you might not be satisfied with this for very long. Just remember that a natural antiperspirant isn’t always as safe to use in the long run as you might wish it to be. So think twice before using it on a daily basis.
