It is extremely difficult to have to cope with any sweating problem whether it may be your sweating underarms, your sweaty feet, or just your sweaty hands. These sweating conditions can often lead to feelings of embarrassment and / or humiliation.

Among these sweating problems, hand sweating could very well be the most common of them all and there are so many different treatments that hand sweating sufferers could resort to find a solution to their problem. hand sweating usually occurs when a person is feeling pressured, anxious or nervous. And for many sufferers it is a constant battle that they have to face every day.

However embarrassing hand sweating may be, there are some excellent solutions that could help to cure you, and give welcome relief to the discomfort you feel, but it may cost you a little more in some instances to avail yourself of those more effective solutions to hand sweating.

Using Iontophoresis as Treatment – (a technique using a small electric charge to deliver a medicine or other chemical through the skin. Basically an injection without the needle. The technical description of this process is a non-invasive method of propelling high concentrations of a charged substance, normally medication or bioactive agents, transdermally by repulsive electromotive force using a small electrical charge applied to an iontophoretic chamber containing a similarly charged active agent and its vehicle. The positively charged chamber, termed the anode will repel a positively charged chemical, while the negatively charged chamber, termed the cathode, will repel a negatively charged chemical back into the skin – Wikipedia)

Hyperhidrosis is the common term used for excessive sweating of your body, which is usually present on your palms, the soles of your feet, and your underarms. Though there are many solutions for treating hyperhidrosis, the most common treatment for hand sweating is the use of Iontophoresis that is defined simply as the method of introduction of ions into the skin through an electrical current. That electrical current means to block the sweat ducts in your hands or disrupt the sweat gland secretion.

Though how it works was not entirely clear, but it has proven to be very effective when it comes to giving a solution to hand sweating.

If typical treatment does not seem to work for your hand sweating, Iontophoresis is the second and most popular means to excessive hand sweating. When it is used correctly by a professional, and adjusted to your own individual level of needs, it has proven to be very successful and even has an 83% success rate, according to the American Academy of Dermatology, when used by people who suffer from hand sweating.

When getting started, you need to make an appointment with your local doctor, or health professional, and get to know more about Iontophoresis and how it is properly used. You could ask your doctor for a referral to undergo a series of treatments for Iontophoresis, at a dermatological clinic. This is where the cost of treatment could become too expensive for you. Please, as always, do your research thoroughly before beginning any treatment.

Also, if you are pregnant, a nursing mother, have a pacemaker installed, or any metal implants, if you have any cardiac problems, or epilepsy, even if you are suffering from severe hand sweating, it is definitely not advisable for you to resort to Iontophoresis.

But your doctor should inform you of any side-effects or concerns in using Iontophoresis.

You will also have to remember to remove any kind of jewelry when doing this process. Any cuts or wounds will need to be covered before starting the process too.

Break In To A Sweat To Break Your Stress

<p>

Do you feel swamped at work? Feel that you are always ‘one-step-behind’ on your ‘to-do list’? Unable to catch up with your chores? Are you restless in bed, tossing and turning, without getting a good night’s sleep fretting over the things you didn’t accomplish that day? Do you find that have to break a sweat to break your stress?

We all experience a somewhat hectic lifestyle, or testing circumstances in our life at one point-or-another. Perhaps you feel that stress is a permanent fixture in your life? The stress caused by these situations can lead you down the road to sickness, depression, or just make you feel overwhelmed. How do you combat this overload of daily stress? Well, one way is by doing exercise.

Stress can come at you from both a physical and a mental direction. Stress that comes at you physically could depend on your family life, your job requirements, or just your lifestyle obligations. Performing exercise will benefit 99% of the population, from a working mother down to a single ‘go-getter’ professional. You should be able to find a particular type of exercise to suit your needs and lifestyle, whether you have just 10-15 minutes a day or whether you can hit the gym for a good workout, regularly. Exercise is well known as a terrific and effective stress reliever.

So, how does performing exercise affect your body? Will it make you feel tired? Contrary to what you may have been told, exercise is known to increase the body’s production of endorphins. These are the chemicals that make you feel good, and are linked to creating an elevation in your mood. The ‘high’ that endorphins create is akin to the ‘high’ attained from eating chocolate. Chocolate works because it has caffeine and that goes to the pleasure center of your brain. Exercise is similar because it makes your blood pump faster through your body, increasing the supply of oxygen to your brain. This ‘endorphin rush’ is why a lot of exercisers become addicted to exercising.

Because of the endorphins, exercise has long been an antidote to stress, it takes your mind off your daily stresses while you run, walk, lift weights, or engage in those physical activities that elevate your heart rate. One added benefit of exercising is that it will assist you in sleeping better at night.

For many people, stress will cause havoc to their lives by them developing insomnia, thereby adding to their stress levels knowing they may not get enough sleep. You will need to ensure that you do not exercise to close to going to bed, a minimum of three hours before retiring for the evening is an appropriate time frame to work to. Everybody reacts differently to their exercise program, so you should be able to experiment with different exercise routines and exercise times to find what is best suited to you and your life.

By exercising over your resting heart rate, this will cause your body to heat up, and of course, when this happens, your body will automatically begin to sweat to cool yourself down so that you do not overheat. Exercising will cause you to begin sweating in most parts of your body, including of you having -
* sweating underarms;
* sweating head;
* a sweating back;
* sweating legs;
* a sweating groin area;
* even sweating palms and sweating feet.
Hopefully, all of you will sweat do keep your body temperature stable, and to remove some of the stored toxins in your system.

And from all of this, you will too hopefully find that some, if not all, of your stress will have eased or abated, and you will feel better and livelier than you did before you started your exercises.

Sweats at night are not uncommon and people suffer from these episodes for many different reasons. Sometimes it can be as simple as having too many blankets on during the night or the heat has been set too high. These are obvious problems and can be easily fixed.

Hormonal Night Sweating Causes

It is also common knowledge that many women suffer from sweating at night while going through menopause. Some women suffer very mild forms of hot flashes and night sweats while others might soak through a set of sheets each night. Some more recent evidence even suggests that men may experience a bit of a phenomenon some refer to as andropause, which also features a degree of hot flashes.

Medical Causes for Sweating At Night

Other reasons you might have bouts of profuse nighttime sweating are medical issues like low blood sugar, infections, immune diseases, problems with your endocrine system, and different types of cancers. You might also suffer from night sweats due to medications you may be taking. Anti-depressants, hypoglycemic agents and hormone replacement therapy medicines are all known to have increased sweating as a side effect. Obesity, low blood sugar, smoking and alcohol have also been linked to causing night sweats.

Treating Your Night Perspiration

There is no actual cure for sweats at night. Because there are so many factors that can cause these episodes, the “cure” or treatment will vary from person to person. Generally though, there are some tips that might help anyone who suffers. First, refrain from drinking alcohol and smoking. Secondly, follow a healthy diet and maintain an ideal BMI (Body Mass Index). This will also help you to keep your blood sugar from dropping. Be sure to keep acid reflux at bay and maintain a healthy blood pressure. If you suffer from sleep apnea or insomnia, get treated for these as they can cause sleep hyperhidrosis as well.

The good news is that there are plenty of treatments for hot flashes. The place to start is with what you eat and drink. Stay away from caffeinated beverages, alcohol, and spicy foods as much as possible. Decreasing the fat in your diet may also help although the effects are slow to show up. You might also want to try increasing the amount of vitamin E and omega 3 fatty acids in your diet by eating more nuts, olive oil, and fish like salmon and trout.

Depression is another symptom that you may suffer from. I myself have suffered with it for many, many years, but I am cured now. I was suicidal as a teen and am quite prone to crying spells and frustrated, angry outbursts. I don’t handle stress all the well and I found that my depression got much worse whenever I’d go to a new doctor because of the symptoms that have been driving me crazy, only to have them tell me nothing was wrong with me. It’s such a disappointing thing to go through, thinking that maybe this new doctor is going to find out what’s wrong with me, only to tell me that I’m normal. But luckily, I finally found a doctor who knows what has been wrong with me all those years.
